Who is Felicity Jurd?

Felicity Josling (born Felicity Jurd, 4 October 1975) is an actress and voice over artist who made her debut in Land of Hope (JNP) in 1984. Her film and tv experience includes; A Country Practice, Home and Away and The Boys Are Back. Felicity was born in the inner west of Sydney and went to primary school in North Ryde. She studied dance from the age of 4 and had her first tv role at 8 years old. She started at Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) in school holidays in 1988. She studied classical ballet, contemporary dance and jazz ballet and then taught dance part time at nights and on weekends whilst at St Vincent's College and then later at university. She won a scholarship for acting in 1993 at ATYP and studied there until 1997 and in 2000 was invited to teach there. Holds a degree in English Literature and French Language from Macquarie University and speaks French fluently from her time in Morocco and France in her late teens. A graduate of the Atlantic Theater Company, New York, she studied under Mary McCann, Karen Kohlhaas, Paul Urcioli, Emily Caigan, Kelly Maurer and Robert Bella from 1997 - 1999.
