Francis X. "Fran" Becker, Jr., is an American businessman, financial planner and New York State, Nassau County Legislator.
Becker was a Congressional candidate in NY-4 in the 2010 election cycle, losing to Democratic incumbent Carolyn McCarthy. See United States House of Representatives elections in New York, 2010. Becker has announced the kickoff of his 2012 campaign for a rematch against McCarthy. On Tuesday June 26 he received the Republican nomination and is set to compete against McCarthy for the seat in the house
