Who is Garik Israelian?
Garik Israelian is an Armenian-Spanish astrophysicist who led the team which found the first observational evidence that supernova explosions are responsible for the formation of black holes. He works for Institute of Astrophysics of Canary islands and European Northern Observatory. He is the leader of the team Observational Tests of the Processes of Nucleosynthesis in the Universe.
