Who is Geoffrey Austin?
Geoffrey Lewis Austin was an English cricketer. Austin's batting style is unknown. He was born at Canterbury, Kent.
Austin made his first-class debut for Kent against England in 1861, making scores of 20 and 23 in this match, which Kent won by 54 runs. He made a further first-class appearance in that season for the Gentlemen of Kent against the Gentlemen of the Marylebone Cricket Club, making scores of 7 and 6 in this match, which was won by the Gentlemen of the Marylebone Cricket Club. His third and final first-class appearance came seven years later in 1868, for Kent against the Gentlemen of the Marylebone Cricket Club, with him making two scores of 4, with the Gentlemen of Marylebone Cricket Club winning by 132 runs.
He died at Chelsea, London on 29 May 1902.
