Who is George Edwards?
George Alexander Edwards is an English cricketer, playing for Surrey County Cricket Club. He made his first-class debut in 2011, against Cambridge MCCU.
Edwards is the fifth of six children born to Dennis George Edwards and Anne Teresa Edwards. He was named after the West Indian cricketer George Headley.
Edwards went to South Africa on an ECB training camp in February 2013, followed by a training camp with Surrey CC in March 2013.
