Who is Hank Izquierdo?
Enrique Roberto Valdes Izquierdo was a Major League Baseball player, who played catcher for the Minnesota Twins in 1967.
Izquierdo spent 16 seasons in the minor leagues before being called up by Minnesota in August 1967. He got into 16 games for the Twins, nine of which were starts. After 1967, Izquierdo returned to the minors and never played in the majors again.
After his playing days were over, Izquierdo managed in the Mexican League and worked as a scout for the Twins.
