Who is Hanna Havrylets'?

Hanna Oleksiïvna Havrylets' is a Ukrainian composer. She was born in Ternopil, Ukraine, and graduated from the Lviv Conservatory where she studied with Volodymyr Flys. She continued her studies at the Kiev Conservatoire with Myroslav Skoryk.

After completing her education, Havrylets' worked as a reviewer, and then took a position teaching at the Kiev P.I. Tchaikovsky Music Academy. She was awarded the Ukraine National T. Shevchenko Prize in 1999, and became an Honoured Arts Worker of the Ukraine in 2005.
