Who was Ian Henderson?
Captain Ian Henry David Henderson MC was a World War I flying ace credited with seven aerial victories.
After service with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, Henderson transferred to the Royal Flying Corps in August 1915.
He was the son of Sir David Henderson, head of the Royal Flying Corps. He was buried in the Doune Cemetery in Girvan, Ayreshire.
