Who is Ibrahim Olugbade?
Captain Ibrahim Adeboyega Olugbade is a Master Mariner who currently occupies the position of the Alternate Permanent Representative to the ""International Maritime Organisation"". He worked in the Nigerian-based ""Nigerian Ports Authority"". in his Early life before he was transferred to the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, where he worked for several years. Until his employment at Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Ibrahim was an Assistant General Manager, Marine, Nigerian Ports Authority, a position in which he was in charge of all marine-related issues in the PA Eastern Pilotage District. He qualified as a master mariner in Australia in 1992. He holds various professional and academic qualifications from Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport in Egypt; the Australian Maritime College, Launceston, Tasmania, Australia; Rivers State University of Science and Technology; and Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron, Akwa-Ibom State. Olugbade belongs to several professional bodies. He is a member of the International Federation of Shipmasters' Associations, London, England, and a fellow of both the Nautical Institute of Technology and Institute of Shipping Technology Nigeria. He is currently based in London, United Kingdom.
