Who is Jacob Oulanyah?
Oulanyah Jacob L'Okori is a Ugandan agricultural economist, lawyer and politician. He is the current Deputy Speaker of the Ugandan Parliament. He was elected to that position on Thursday 19 May 2011. He succeeds Rebecca Kadaga, who served as Deputy Speaker between 2001 until 2011. Oulanyah is also the current Member of Parliament for the Omoro County constituency, Gulu District, Acholi sub-region, in Northern Uganda.
