Who is Jaki Cavins?

Jaki Cavins (born Jacqueline Joy Cavins; 30 January 1997) is an American singer-songwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Widely known for her unique and soulful vocals and lyrics, her work includes a wide variety of genres, including jazz, pop, R&B, and neo-soul.

A standout artist on the Twin Cities music scene, Jaki was personally chosen by filmmaker Joseph Strickland, songwriter Cat Ellington, and music producer Princeton Brown to record four songs that were written by Cat Ellington to feature on the original motion picture soundtrack to "Dual Mania," including "The Book Of Us," "Something In Your Eyes," "I'm Still In Love," and the award-winning "I Do," making the velvety-voiced songbird the first to ever record a Cat Ellington R&B song work.
