Who is John McCoy?

John Richard McCoy is an American politician of the Democratic Party. He is a member of the Washington State Senate, representing the 38th Legislative District. He previously served more than 10 years in the Washington House of Representatives. McCoy, a member of the Tulalip Tribes of Washington, is the only self-identified American Indian in the state senate and, along with Jeff Morris, is one of two in the Washington State Legislature.
