Who was José Rafael Revenga?
José Rafael Revenga y Hernández was a minister of foreign affairs of Gran Colombia. He contributed to the 1818 foundation of the weekly Correo del Orinoco, and negotiated Great Britain's recognition of Gran Colombia as an independent country. He is buried in the National Pantheon of Venezuela.
