Who is Khattab ibn Nufayl?
Khattab ibn Nufayl was an Arab from the tribe of Quraish. He lived during the 6th century and was a contemporary of Muhammad. He was also the father of Umar ibn al-Khattab, who would later become Muslim and is regarded by Sunni Muslims as the second "Rightly guided Caliph", thus he was a Sahaba's ancestor.
