Who is Kiki Valentine?

Kiki Valentine is a New York City-based journalist, writer, producer, comedienne and public speaker. Her material embraces factual, historical and personal anecdotes through articles, blogs, live monologues, parody, and collaborations with today's leading musicians, actors, comedians, dancers and performance artists. She is well known for uncanny, cutting-edge observational humor seen in her theatrical performances which critics refer to as "the MENSA of variety shows". Currently the President of Valentine Media Productions, she acts as a creative consultant and writer for various companies, non-profits and individuals. In 2011, she became a Reverend and performs marriage ceremonies throughout New York City. In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, in 2012 she became a Disaster Relief Coordinator in Brooklyn, New York.

Outside of the arts she is respected for her work with various non-profit organizations and advocacy groups. In 2010, she was recognized with a "Brooklyn Do Gooder" award nomination. In 2012 and 2013, she is named in several Associated Press articles pertaining to her work with elderly evacuees displaced by Hurricane Sandy.
