Laia Palau

Who is Laia Palau?

Laia Palau Altés is a professional basketball player, currently playing for Ros Casares Valencia in Euroleague Women and Spain's Liga Femenina.

Palau began her professional career with Universitari de Barcelona in 1997, and continued to play with CBF Universitari de Barcelona through 2004. In 2004, she joined with Bourges Basket, and played with them through 2006.

Palau currently plays for Ros Casares Valencia, and serves as team captain. Her team has won the past 5 Copa de la Reina championships, as well as the past four Liga Femenina championships, and has been to the championship game of Euroleague Women twice, in 2007 and 2010.

In PLKK season 2012/13 she played for CCC Polkowice and won Championship's title and Polish Cup as well. With CCC she participated in EuroLeague Women 2012–13 reaching Final Eight and ranked #1 overall in Assists, #2 overall in Turnovers and #2 overall in Minutes
