Who is M.R. Osborne?
M.R. Osborne is an English author who writes about Christian mysticism and Western esotericism. He is immersed in the study and practice of philosophical alchemy and Christian theo-philosophy. The Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia (SRIA) Province of Greater London showcases his writing as part of " ... the living tradition of Rosicrucianism emerging in London today."
Osborne is the author of several works, including The Alchemy of William Blake: The Three Principles of the Divine Essence and An Allegory on the Spiritual Condition of Man; Son of Perdition: The Magic and Hubris of Simon Magus; and The Brazen Serpent: Chaos & Order.
He is best known for his scholarly introductions to Rose Circle's series of English language editions of early Élus Coëns resources, such as The Treatise on the Reintegration of Beings of Martinez de Pasqually, and the first treatise of the Abbé Fournié, What We Have Been, What We Are And What We Will Become.
In 2022, in collaboration with publisher Rose Circle Books, Osborne produced the first fully restored and complete colour publication of The Most Holy Trinosophia, drawing comparisons in his research between the origins of this mysterious manuscript and the Egyptian books of the dead.
