Who was Marianne Conway?
Marianne Conway was an actress and vocalist. She was the older daughter of Sarah Crocker Conway and Frederick B. Conway, two actors and theater managers in New York. Marianne made her long-awaited debut in the 1870 production of "The Daughter of the Regiment" at her mother's Park Theater in Brooklyn.
