Who is Marina Romanko?

Marina Romanko is a Russian chess player. She holds the titles of International Master and Woman Grandmaster.

Romanko played in the gold medal-winning Russian Women's team in the 8th European Team Chess Championship in Novi Sad 2009. She took part in the Women's World Chess Championship 2010, but was eliminated in the second round by Hou Yifan. In February 2012 she won the women's tournament of the Moscow Open. She took part in the Women's World Chess Championship 2012.
