Who is Mark Maxwell?

Mark Maxwell is an American songwriter and record producer from Edmond, Oklahoma. Now based in Los Angeles, Maxwell began his career in 2008 working with OC-based hip-hop trio, Millionaires, and since then has gone on to collaborate with the likes of Boys Like Girls, Blake Lewis, Cobra Starship, Elen Levon, Tonight Alive, and many others.

A frequent musical collaborator of the popular comedy website, Funny or Die, Maxwell has also written and produced songs for such comedy kingpins as Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Chris Kattan, John Cho, and Kal Penn. Additionally, having made the foray into television, Maxwell composed the music for the SNL Digital Short, "Sad Mouse", featuring Bruno Mars.

Maxwell also writes, produces, and performs under the pseudonym "SILAS", having provided remixes for artists such as The Ready Set and The Summer Set, as well as teaming up with 3OH!3 on a song for their album, Omens.
