Who is Mike White?
Mike White initially came to fame when, in a series of articles in the pages of his Cashiers du Cinemart fanzine, he took director Quentin Tarantino to task for failing to credit director Ringo Lam's City on Fire as an influence upon the making of Reservoir Dogs. White claimed that many key elements of Reservoir Dogs were borrowed from City on Fire, a claim he later attempted to illustrate via his own short film, "Who Do You Think You're Fooling?", while Rotten Tomatoes attempted to do the same via one of their "Homage or Stealing?" features.
In 2010, White also recently released a collection of his Cashiers du Cinemart articles and interviews in book form as Impossibly Funky: A Cashiers du Cinemart Collection.
In 2011, White began co-hosting a film podcast, titled "The Projection Booth".
In July 2013, White broke the story of Lianne "Spiderbaby" MacDougall plagiarizing articles.
