Who is Mychel Thompson?
Mychel Thompson is an American professional basketball swingman with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League. He played college basketball for Pepperdine University from 2007–2011. He went undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft and signed with the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Development League. Five games into the D-League season, the 2011 NBA lockout ended and Thompson signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 2012, he signed with the New York Knicks, but did not make the team and was cut at the end of camp.
