Who is Nafissatou Diallo?

Manhattan hotel maid who accused then IMF chief Dominic Strauss-Kahn of sexual assault and rape. The alleged attack was said to have taken place on May 14 at the Sofitel New York Hotel in Manhattan. On August 22, 2011, the prosecutors asked that the charges against Strauss-Kahn be dropped partly because they "determined that Ms. Diallo had been too untruthful with them to stand up to cross examination if the case were to go to trial." Diallo also launched a civil action against Strauss-Kahn in August, 2011.
