Who is Nan Hayworth?
Nan Alison Sutter Hayworth is the former U.S. Representative for New York's 19th congressional district. She was defeated in her bid for reelection on November 6, 2012. She is a member of the Republican Party and has received significant support from the Tea Party. In 2012, Hayworth lost her reelection bid to former Clinton White House staff secretary Sean Patrick Maloney. In early 2013 reports indicate she will seek a re-match with Maloney.
