Who is NoddY RioT?

Started singing and acting in Annie mg Schmidt musicals parts since the age of 10. Won the 'Paradiso (Amsterdam) Talent Gala' at age 15.

UpgroundMusic released NoddY RioT's album/cd; 'This Heavy High' in 1998 and got AMAZING reviews (Oor / Fret / Exprezzo etc.) and pops up all over the planet (and others)! Tours and clubappearances in London / Hollywood / Berlin / Amsterdam etc.

Best known for his debut single pUbErPuNk at age 14, and his dutch/german/english rap duet with former girlfriend Nina Hagen two years later.

Was asked to perform for Kate Bush when he was 15, and sharing the dressingroom with her is one of his best memories being such a Kate fan.

Ignored commercial offers to really SHOW his talents with honesty and the way HE wants it.

Partied from London to New York and was on tv (channel 4,KRO,vara!etc.) with his own kind of punk/club/reggae tracks.

The song 'CreAte Your Own Reality' appeared on the u.s.doc. 'Sex, Drugs & Democracy' about the Dutch constitution, seen by then dutch prime minister Wim Kok and former American president Bill Clinton in New York cinema. (note; NoddY RioT is anti harddrugs, and only enjoys the odd spliff!)

Recently the club e.p. Nod From This World & 'All Mixxxed UP!' got him played all over the clubs and radio again, also his sexy lounge/R/soul songs (HORNYGODBOY), and known for writing dub reggae tracks like The Right Spirit, inspired by his night jammin' in the jungle of Nassau, Bahama's.

He grew up singing along with the silly voices of Yma Sumac and Pippi from the age of 5. And still stuck in his funny ways of using his voice from high to low!!
