Who is Nolan Baumgartner?
Nolan Baumgartner is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently an assistant coach with the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League. Baumgartner was selected by the Washington Capitals in the 1st round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. He played parts of ten seasons in the National Hockey League for six different teams. Baumgartner played only one full season in the NHL, 2005–06 with the Vancouver Canucks, and spent most of his playing career in the AHL.
