Nrisingha Prasad Bhaduri is an Indologist and a specialist of Indian epics and Puranas. He is also a writer. As of 2012 he is overseeing a large-scale encyclopedia project on Indian epics like Mahabharata and Ramayana which will be released around 2015. Due to the difficulty and complexity of the undertaking, it took Bhaduri a decade to conceptualize the project.
