Who is Odilo Scherer?
Odilo Pedro Scherer is a Brazilian Cardinal of the Catholic Church. He currently serves as Archbishop of São Paulo, and was elevated to the cardinalate in 2007. In the international media, he was mentioned as a possible contender to succeed Benedict XVI, who resigned in 2013.
