Who is Omar al-Muqdad?
Omar al-Muqdad is a journalist. He was born in Bosra, Dara'a, Syria.
Al-Muqdad was a freelance reporter for CNN.
Omar was one of the Syrian youths that participate in the Syrian Revolution 2011, which started in March 2011, and that forced him to go into exile to Turkey.
He was featured in BBC's Panorama: Syria Inside the Secret Revolution on 26 September 2011.
