Who is Paul Vincent Coleman?

Paul Vincent Coleman was raised in the small town of Fairbury , Illinois . His mother named him after Vincent Coleman an American stage and film actor of the silent film era of the late 1910s and early 1920s. But in short the family started calling him Paul . His parents divorced at the age of 2 and his weekend and summer visitations where spent with his Father a television executive . Paul was raised in television stations across the Midwest and Chicago which gave him the bug for show biz . Paul was very much influenced by a relative who was a silly Weatherman , John Coleman , who gained success from becoming the original weatherman on the brand-new ABC network morning program, Good Morning America. John Coleman taught Paul the gift of the tall tales and bull . leaving Paul with the makings of a Ron Burgundy . Graduating High School Coleman enlisted in the Army and served as a Paratrooper in the XVIII Airborne Corps , Ft.Bragg , NC . After his duty was up Coleman moved to Hollywood . Studying acting at VanMar Academy of Film and Television Acting , he quickly bonded with founder Ivan Markota , who was a WW2 Veteran and a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division . Between auditions and acting classes Paul worked full time as a Bodyguard for several A list celebrities and Rock Stars . He quickly gained an infamous reputation among the Hollywood executives , producers and directors as someone not to cross as a bodyguard . Coleman did not play the Hollywood way and stood his ground in looking after his clients , not one to put up with bullies , no matter who they were . Nevertheless did not help his acting career . Paul Coleman never knew a stranger , loved meeting people and feels fortunate to have learned some very valuable lessons on life from celebrities he knew , the list being many . Life slowed down for Paul in 2001 where he underwent several spinal cord operations from his duty as an Army Paratrooper .
