Who is Sabu also called Thety?
Sabu called Thety was the High Priest of Ptah during the reign of King Teti, ruler of Egypt. He was the successor of Sabu also called Ibebi and likely his son.
Sabu's mastaba in Saqqara contains a text mentioning that before he was made High Priest of god Ptah there had always been two men holding this position. Sabu called Thety was the first man to hold the position by himself.
