Who is Sajid Javid?
Sajid Javid PC MP is a British Conservative Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Bromsgrove since 2010 and the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and Minister for Equalities since 2014.
Javid previously served as Economic Secretary from 2012 to 2013 and as the Financial Secretary to the Treasury from 2013 to 2014. Some commentators, including radio presenter Iain Dale, have suggested that he may one day become Leader of the Conservative Party.
