Who is Sam Hornish, Jr.?

Samuel Jon Hornish, Jr. is an American auto racing driver. A three-time IndyCar Series champion and winner of the 2006 Indianapolis 500, he went on to compete in NASCAR stock car competition, driving in the NASCAR Nationwide Series for Joe Gibbs Racing in the #54 car and #20, sharing the former with Kyle Busch. Hornish Jr. later drove for Penske, Richard Petty, and Richard Childress - at the Cup level - having mixed results.
