Scott Langer

Who is Scott Langer?

Scott Langer has become one of the most successful Junior Hockey coaches in the United States. He has amassed an overall record of 352-143-49 and helped over 100 Junior hockey players reach the college hockey ranks.

In 1997 he was hired as an assistant coach for the AWHL/NAHL Bismarck Bobcats where he remained until 2002. The following season he served as Assistant coach for the USHL Chicago Steel before accepting a position with the Lone Star Calvary of the NAHL in 2003. He took over as Head Coach after the teams move to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2004. In 2007 the team once again moved to Topeka, Kansas where he has built the program into the most successful franchise in the cities history with a 159-47-22 record.

He has also served as General Manager of the Topeka RoadRunners since 2007. Under his guidance the Topeka RoadRunners were named NAHL Organization of the Year in 2007-08. In 2009-10 he received the prestigious honor of being name the NAHL GM of the Year.

On October 9, 2010 Scott Langer reached the 250-win mark in his career. The following season on March 10, 2012 Scott Langer achieved his 300th career win and Oct. 17, 2013 he reached his 350th career win.
