Who is Scott Neustadter?

Scott Eric Neustadter is an American screenwriter. He often works with his writing partner, Michael H. Weber. The two writers wrote the screenplays for Days of Summer, The Pink Panther 2, The Spectacular Now, and The Fault in Our Stars. Days of Summer is based on two real relationships Neustadter had.

Neustadter was born and raised in Margate City, New Jersey, the son of Anne and Michael J. Neustadter. He attended Atlantic City High School, University of Pennsylvania and graduate studies at The London School of Economics.

At age 25, Neustadter visited Los Angeles, California, and shortly thereafter moved to Santa Monica, where he currently resides.

He was married, on October 9, 2010, to Lauren Rachelle Levy.
