Who is Steve Templeton?

Chief Meteorologist ' ' ' Steve Templeton' ' ' forecast the weather for News 4 at 5 pm & 10 pm, Steve is One of the First Meteorologists in the Country to Receive the Certified Broadcast Meteorology Seal from The American Meteorological Society, He also holds the Seal Of Approval of the National Weather Association.

Steve earned his degree in Atmospheric Science of Prudue University in Indiana before starting his TV Meteorology career as a Chief Meteorologist at KFXB-TV in Dubuque, IA, Steve then went to forecast in Tornado Alley as the Morning and Noon Meteorologist for WHO-TV in Des Moines, IA.

But the chance to be close to his family and continue to forecast wild weather is why Steve moved in St. Louis and KMOV-TV, Steve's Wife, Rebecca grew up in the St. Louis Area, Nashville, IL. Now that the Templeton family is growing with their first child, Steve's in-Laws make great babysitters when Steve & Rebecca want to take in a great restaurant, a ball game and all that St. Louis has to offer
