Who is Sucheta Kadethankar?
Sucheta Kadethankar is an Indian Information technology developer from Pune. On July 15, 2011 she became the first Indian to have walked across the Gobi desert. The 33 year-old was a part of a 13-member team led by the desert explorer Ripley Davenport in the Gobi Desert 2011 expedition.
Sucheta set out with an international team on May 25 and finished on July 15 covering 1000 miles.
