Who is Sue E. Myerscough?

Sue Ellen Myerscough was formerly a justice on the Illinois Fourth District Appellate Court and is currently a District Judge for the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois. In February 2010 Senator Dick Durbin recommended Myerscough to President Obama for a seat on the District Court. Obama nominated her in June 2010. On March 3, 2011 the Senate ordered that her nomination be deemed as agreed to by unanimous consent during the executive proceedings that were held on March 7, 2011. She received her commission on March 14, 2011.
