Who was Sune Mangs?

Bengt Sune Events, born December 31, 1932 in Kaskinen in Finland, died February 11, 1994 in Stockholm, was a Swedish actor and vaudeville performer. He was the son of a furniture dealer Runar Events and Edith, born Lindborg.

Many first role on stage was like Tommy in Pippi Longstocking. Sune Events is known for his involvement in several revues in Povel Ramel, Beppe Wolgers and Hagge Geigert. At Hagge, he made a spitting image parody of opera singer Birgit Nilsson. In the 1970s he appeared in popular TV series South Jaws, lords of the pasture and the guys in the 57-ball. In the 1980s he played in several productions at The bug in Stockholm, including children's musical "Pippi Longstocking (this time as a thief Dunder-Karlsson) and the hit farce Kuta and run (as the neighbor in the apartment above). At the end of his career, he played some serious roles in films, including Ingmar Bergman's Fanny and Alexander and of Hrafn Gunnlaugsson TV movie The executioner and the whore. Even in Gunnlaugsson movie Raven's shadow appeared many, as in the role of a rare joint bishop.

Many sufferers on New Year's Eve 1993 of a heart attack and died one month later on Sabbatsberg Hospital in Stockholm. He was buried March 31, 1994 at Skogskyrkogården.
