Who is Ted Koch?

Ted Koch is an international nature and publication photographer best known for his work in documenting the nature of Florida, where he was raised. In his works, he tries to show the viewer a bit of what the State once was as well as what it has become. His works can be found in galleries throughout Florida, and hang in many historical society showrooms. In 2009, Ted Koch was awarded the prestigious Nature Photographer of the decade by the EcoPhotoshow. Highly awarded for his Nature, Magazine, and Gallery Charity Shows. He is currently suffering from Congestive Heart Failure and failing joints so his photographic Nature work has been much curtailed as he works to stretch his life. As a member and officer of the International Nature Photography Dr. Amy Slater considers Mr. Koch to be one of the top advocates for the documentation of many types of birds.
