Who is The Peach Tree?

The Peach Tree is the solo musical project of musician / writer / producer Angus Maiden from Melbourne, Australia. His work varies in scope from Death Metal to Trance and everything in between. He works on a conceptual album basis, the disparate textures linked together by lyrical themes. All of his music is released for free under a Creative Commons license and can be found at a number of places including http://thepeachtree.bandcamp.com (high quality files but does not contain all of his work) and http://www.last.fm/music/the+peach+tree (lower quality downloads but contains his entire discography). One of the quirks of Angus' music is that although his voice is sweet and emotive he often misses the notes completely. Some people find this makes his music unlistenable, to others it is bearable, yet for a lot it is endearing.
