Who is V. S. R. Arunachalam?
Vallampadugai Srinivasa Raghavan Arunachalam is an Indian scientist who was conferred Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan for his contribution to Indian science. He worked at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, National Aeronautical Laboratory at Bangalore,and Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory, Hyderabad, He also served as Defence Scientific Advisor and Secretary, Department of Defence Research for Government of India. He got the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology in Engineering Science in 1980.
