Who is Valeria Puig?
Valeria Puig is a Uruguayan film-maker working in both fiction and documentary. She was nominated at her young age to several film festivals such as the Nashville Film Festival in 2011 where her short film Confessions of a Taxi Driver was a finalist, and she worked in other scripts that were nominated at the Cannes Film Festival for the Aid for Development in 2007 among others. She has worked with directors such as Shelagh McLeod, Simon Shepherd, Juan Pittaluga and Darlenne Susan Girard. Valeria has worked in eighteen short films, four feature films and a ten episode series for TV. She is the owner and director of Dragonfly Films Ltd, a film production company founded in March 2012.
