Who is Valeriu Chiveri?
Valeriu Chiveri is a Moldovan diplomat. He was the Moldovan Ambassador to Austria. On June 12, 2013, Valeriu Chiveri was named Vice-minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.
In 1990 graduated Technical University, Chisinau, the Republic of Moldova, later in 1995 graduated National School for Political and Administrative Studies, Bucharest, Romania. Valeriu Chiveri in 1996 also studied at George Marshall Centre for Security Studies, Germany and in 1999 graduated Moldovan State University.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
August 1995-February 1998 - Second secretary, Commonwealth of Independent States Department, MFA of the Republic Moldova
February 1998-June 1999 - First secretary/ counsellor/ head of division, International Security Department, MFA
June 1999-September 2000 - Political officer, OSCE Mission to Georgia
September 2000-October 2001 - Deputy Head, International Security Department, MFA
October 2001-July 2005 - Counsellor, Embassy of the Republic of Moldova to Austria/ Permanent Delegation of Moldova to the OSCE
November 2005-February 2006 - Political officer, OSCE Centre in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
