Who is Valeriu Tiţa?
Valeriu Tița is a Romanian football coach. He is the former manager of Syrian club Al-Ittihad Aleppo with whom he won the AFC Cup in 2010 and former manager of the Syrian national team. He is currently the manager of the Emirates team Al Sharjah. During his playing career, Tița played as a midfielder in his home-town team FC Drobeta-Turnu Severin until 1993 when he moved to Morocco to play for Olympique de Casablanca to win the Moroccan football league and the Arab Cup Winners' Cup with the team in 1993–94 season. In 1994–95, the team became vice-champion of the Moroccan league.
