Vyacheslav Victorovich Volodin is a Russian politician, currently the first deputy chief of staff of the Presidential Administration of Russia. Vyacheslav Volodin was appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Government Chief of Staff]
He was member of the State Duma of the third, fourth and the fifth sessions.
Between February 2, 2007 and October 21, 2010, he was the Deputy of the Chairman of the Russian State Duma in the fifth session. In addition he was the Secretary of the Presidium of the General Council of the ruling party United Russia.
On October 21, 2010, he was appointed as the Deputy of the Prime Minister and the Chief of Staff of the Russian Federation.
