Who was Wallas Eaton?

Wallas Eaton, sometimes credited as Wallace Eaton or Wallis Eaton, was an English film, radio, television and theatre actor.

He is perhaps best remembered for his voice roles between 1949 and 1960 in the BBC radio-comedy serial Take It from Here. and as Ludicrus Sextus in the BBC comedy series Up Pompeii! in 1970.
