Who is Wally Gagel?

Walton Steven “Wally” Gagel is an American record producer, songwriter, engineer and musician. Originally the bass player for Boston-based indie rock band Orbit, he came into prominence in 1996 after "Natural One", a song he wrote with Lou Barlow for Barlow's band The Folk Implosion, became a Top 40 hit in the United States.

He formed the production partnership WAX LTD with his songwriting partner Xandy Barry. His credits include, Eels, Folk Implosion, New Order, Rolling Stones, Old 97s, Sebadoh, Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson, Rihanna, Muse, Tanya Donelly, and Miley Cyrus.
