Who is Wang Hong?
Mr. Wang Hong, one of first-class directors of the state, serves as the Chairman of Greatdreams Cartoon Media Limited Company.
Mr. Wang Hong graduated from Chinese Department of Hunan Normal
University in 1981, then attended playwriting class in Beijing Film
Academy in the same year, and graduated in 1983. Afterwards, he worked
as a director in Hunan TV station. In 1985, his works named “Walk to
Far Away” won the first-class award in single programs, best playwright
award, best actor award,best female supporting role award and best
illumination award at the 5thFlying Goddess Award. In April 2003,
because of his outstanding contribution to Chinese teleplay, China
Television Artists Association granted him the highest
honor—“Distinguished Achievement Award” at Golden Eagle award.
Mr.
Wang Hong has engaged in literature creation, directing TV and
animation for years, and has released 500,000 characters of screenplays
for stories, films, and TV literature. Besides, he has also directed 12
teleplays amounting to 59 episodes.
In
May 1981, his short story “Oh, my life” won second-class award at 2nd
Hunan Young People's Literature competition. And his another short
story “Son of the General” won the award for Hunan literature and art
creation.
In
Oct. 1985, “Walk to Far Away” which was directed and co-written by him
won the first-class award in single programs, best playwright award,
best actor award,best female supporting role award and best
illumination award at the 5thFlying Goddess Award. The screenplay won
the Honor Award at 3rd TV and Film Literature Creation Award, and
first-class playwright award and first-class program award in Hunan.
In
Oct.1986, “No Regrets for Youth”, directed by him, was highly appraised
by newspapers and periodicals such as “People’s Daily” and “China TV
Paper”.
In
April 1987, his teleplay “Difficult Interview” won first-class award
for single program around six provinces of south China at 1986 Golden
Sail Award.
From
July 1987 to Dec. 1989, “Secret of A-bomb Explosion”, which was
directed and produced by Mr. Wang Hong, won second-class award in
single program and best director nominee award in 1st Chinese video
appraisal, excellent literature achievement award in Hunan.
From 1989 to 1992, he served as General Manager of Hainan branch of Hunan Gold-bee AudioVideo Company.
From
May 1989 to July 1990, “Invincible Marketing Strategies”, whose
director-in-chief was Mr. Wang Hong, was highly appraised by “China
Business Herald”, “Economic Daily”, “People’s Daily” and “Workers’
Daily”. In Sep. 1990, he was regarded as a candidate for Top Ten
Directors in New China which was held by “China Radio Broadcast” press.
From
Nov.1989 to April 1990, teleplay “Tide Soul” won first-class teleplay
award in and best director award in 1989 Golden Sail award.
From
March to Sep. 1991, his “China has 50” was highly commented by the
Ministry of Public Security, P.R.C. and was recommended to issue all
over the country, which has obtained good social benefit and
considerable economic benefit.
