Who was William Henry Harrison?
William Henry Harrison was a 19th-century Member of Parliament from Westland, New Zealand.
He represented the Westland Boroughs electorate from 1868 to 1870, and then the Grey Valley electorate from 1871 to 1875, when he retired.
In the 1868 by-election, he contested the electorate against a Mr Shaw, following the resignation of William Sefton Moorhouse. Harrison and Shaw received 98 and 81 votes, respectively.
